WebbUltimate collection is ultimate collection, I can't choose which expansions I want to install, reinstall etc. But yeah, I tried repairing etc. Frankly speaking game repairs itself after every crash, but it doesn't change the fact it still happens. Try this first and see if the game runs normally again. The other way to restart a completely Vanilla game which requires you to move (not copy and paste or create a shortcut) the entire Sims 2 folder from the EA Games folder to your Desktop.
