WebPersonally, I find things like the portrait of the Four Tetrarchs much more evocative than something like August's statue. There might be a loss in realism, but if the idea was to invoke awe and a general sense of dread for the autorities, then the Four Tetrarchs' portrait succeeds far more in my opinion. Same goes for Constantine's colossal face.
